My favorite (safe!) foundation

Disclaimer: I am a Beauty Counter consultant, but all opinions expressed are unbiased and my true opinions about these products, the result of the realizations I had about the products I was using, and why I switched to safer.

While I was trying to find the answer to my health issues and searching for a makeup to balance my skin, the first product I wanted to switch was my foundation. I figured I'd start with the products that covered most of my face before investing in lesser used products like my eye shadow. This is the main reason I asked my friend for some samples of her Beauty Counter foundation.

She sent me both the Tint Skin and the Dew Skin, and at first, I only loved the Tint Skin (I promised I'd be unbiased here!). This is mostly because I wanted more coverage. The Tint Skin (my color is Linen) did just that, offering buildable coverage that blended perfectly into my skin tone. For probably the first time ever, I wasn't self conscious about have that barely noticeable line of makeup between my face and my neck. This blended so well.

The Dew Skin was good in theory to me, but it just wasn't providing the coverage I needed to walk out the door confidently. Now, all of my Beauty Counter products have helped balance my skin so now I LOVE the Dew Skin.

The Dew Skin is perfect for lighter coverage, offering a very moisturized and dewy look! These days I've been doing a layer or two of Tint Skin Linen and highlighting cheek bones and nose with Dew Skin and it looks amazing. On Saturdays, for example, I've found that lightly dabbing the Dew Skin around my face gives it that lazy day, "I didn't put on makeup but my skin is still glowing" look.

Also: I was definitely concerned about the price at first. Until I realized that me, a girl who can fly through product, is still using the same container of Tint Skin 2 months later. And I have no plans of needing to reorder anytime soon.

I know firsthand how important trying samples are before purchasing. Let me send you a few free samples of product so you can try it yourself.
